Wear Solutions
As manufacturers of polyurethane component wear liners, ABS designs and produces a range of wear protection systems and parts to suit all your needs. ABS’s range of wear liners includes:
Ceramic.
Ceramicwear products are the ultimate protection systems for high volume, high wear areas in all transfer chutes and hoppers. Ceramic wear products are a combination of polyurethane panels with specially designed Alumina ceramic tiles insulated from shock loading by a bed of elastomeric material (polyurethane). Ceramic wear liners can be manufactured to any shape or size.
Polyurethane.
ABS’s polyurethane is a strong damage resistant material with a relatively low friction coefficient making it an ideal solution for lining chutes, hoppers, bunkers and silos. These liners are virtually maintenance free and designed to extend the working life of materials handling plant. Polyurethane liners are widely used to eliminate bridging and hanging up of a variety of bulk materials especially with damp, moist and wet products.
Rubber backed polyurethane sheeting.
Wear protection systems used world-wide as flow promotion liners, this is a product with an extremely low friction coefficient making it an ideal solution for lining chutes, hoppers, bunkers and silos where materials are inclined to hang up. The Rubber backed POLYURETHANE sheeting product range includes sheets of all sizes with a thickness range of 5 to 60mm.
Combination Liner Technology.
ABS’s wear protection systems designed as custom solutions to all abrasion and flow problems. Different faces of chutes, hoppers and bins may be subject to varying degrees of impact and abrasion resistance. If single liners cannot meet the demand, a combination of linings with specialised, polyurethane, polyethylene and ceramic embedded improvised liners provide an ideal solution for a range of applications.
